It can exist and it can not exist, I have no Idea. I though INTJs and INFPs are the biggest atheists

I am a religious INFP. The world and the universe in all it's beauty are too complex and fine to not have a Creator, and so, I acknowledge God.
You all are beautiful and wonderful people. God bless you all!

Catholic over here!If you don't mind my asking, what religion are you?or do you just believe in God.
Re: Are INFPs religious or atheists?
I don't mind at all. I was raised Episcopal (so pseudo-Catholic), but just say I am Christian. My dad has recently become deeply involved in the Serbian Orthodox tradition after years of Episcopal and Lutheran practice. My mom is Episcopal Christian, and my girlfriend is Pentacostal. I've seen much of the spectrum, and I really can't say I fit into any one denominational community, except one that shows upmost reverence for God, and respect and love for God's creation.potatotoro wrote:Catholic over here!If you don't mind my asking, what religion are you?or do you just believe in God.

I went from a believer to an angsty atheist in my teens. I am still a nonbeliever but I am probably more on the agnostic side.

I'm an INFP Christian with an ESFJ Buddhist mum and an ESFX Atheist dad, it's a confusing family XD
I don't know if INFPs as a whole are any more religious than any other mbti. Many people in my church are FJs and FPs.

Do you have a Jewish uncle? That calls for a sitcom.

I think I'd classify myself as "spiritual without the baggage."

The central problem for people who classify themselves as "spiritual without the baggage", is all that baggage they carry around, completely unaware that they do so.

INFP and atheist to the core. Humans were here before religion and were clever enough to create religion to create order. I walk around most days with my bag containing many badges - one of the badges has the words - "Atheist - No Sin. Just Fun".
Re: Are INFPs religious or atheists?
I don't think it matters. Any personality is susceptible to faith. Someone once described the brain to me as an organ that makes predictions. It's only a natural extensions of that function to predict that which we can not or do not know. Having beliefs, morals, or a faith is a social consequence of coping with that uncertainty. Heck, it's probably even why we are discussing it hear.
For me I just ignore most questions of faith and accept that I can not know them for now. I try to be a good person because it's the right thing to do, but I also accept I'm human and I make mistakes.
