Music
So I'm not positive is this is the right place to go for this topic, but I havr come to somewhat of a realisation, being that I prefer music in other languages (namely japanese and german) because I can place my emotions with them without knowing what they imply. I can listen to something that for all I know is about the love of some persons life, but because of the tone of the song and melody behind it I can place a melancholy feeling to it that had meaning for me that is completely different or maybe even opposite of what is actually being said, and I have come to the thought that I really prefer that to say listening to a melancholy song I can understand because I can't actually relate my emotions to that of the person singing his or her sorrows away. While it's not to say I don't like music in the English language because I have a wide variety that I do, but I find it easier to relate to something that I can well project on.

I'm interested in how you experience this. It would probably be like me listening to Cambodian music or something. Although these songs are influenced by western songs and musicians.
Which one do you like best?

Re: Music
So the first link of the I would I see this, a cool fall day in the mountains, with something calm and whimsical going on, perhaps a small gathering with friends or family, the house is open with a cool breeze blowing through, and everyone is smiling and having a good time, in the kitchen there would be aromas of samosas and curry starting to brew, adding a warmth to the cool breeze and I could see myself sitting on the porch, all of this behind me, with a small smile on my face as I look out at the red, orange, and yellow hued trees about. I'll listen to the other 5 here soon

I liked the beginning of three, Libar. If I'm correct, these are in Bosnian? Technically, some Balkan people count as Slavs, right? In the first video, I noticed oblake. Do you think there's a connection to that and the Russian oblaku, which I know from a different song? All of those were pretty solid, and I can't think of a favorite of all of them. This was interesting.

Re: Music
Some of them were in Bosnian, some Croatian, some Serbian. We speak pretty much the same language with very small differences. And yes all three are mainly Slavic people and the language is similar in tone to Russian or Czech.
Oblak in Russian seems to be "cloud" according to google translate, so we use the identical word there, oblak.
