Re: If you could change type

I would like to develop all skills, but I love being INFP.
I love impersonating other types though.. Like when I meet new people, I can't always be myself.. (Like, new, strange butterfly from outer space here! Lol)
My favorite type to play is INTJ... Ha! So fun. Even INTJs that ive met were like... Huh?:) when i told them im infp.
If i meet an estj and dont play a type.. HAHA.. Oyy. They get so confused, poor things. I usually play a noce SFP with them and theyre okay, but got to say, were AWESOME, and those that understand us for who we are are special, wonderful people.

Re: If you could change type
What a strange idea, that people think that their personality type is who they are.
Personality is an overlay: a modifier resulting from their experiences, or lack of experiences.
At most it is a set of biases this way or that way, preferences and reactions to things.
If I could change mine, from INFJ, and all the other types that I am, depending upon circumstance, my mood, and the alignment of the planets, I would choose to have no personality at all.
In fact, I sometimes do exactly that, both during, and after, deep meditation.
On the other hand, if we're talking about types we admire, then probably ISFJ would be it. But without the inherent sloppy sentimentality that accompanies it..
