Finished Artemis Fowl! I loved it, the comedy was hilarious, and the plot had so many well-written twists and turns. I loved how dwarves ate dirt in the mines and how Santa Claus is San D'Klass. I'm definitely going to keep reading. What's the next one called?

I downloaded the entire works of H.G. Wells on my Kindle. There are some great and unusual stories in that collection, and if I wasn't lazy, I'd go get my Kindle right now and list them. There's one called "A Bicycle Idyll," and one about an angel that fell to earth smack dab in the middle of the Victorian English countryside...His writing is funny in an understated way, and reading his works has been good for improving my vocabulary!

I go to a bookstore regularly, but I use it more like a library, because I rarely buy. I haven't read either Harper Lee books, I keep forgetting to.

I read To Kill a Mockingbird--it's wonderful. I've heard this recent release of Harper Lee's isn't as great. Or at least it's depressing.

Yeah, that sucks. My mom's a librarian, so I always have a way to get books. And who knows, maybe they got a fresh shipment and they're ready to sell!

Don't you just love the way it smells in a library? The smell of books!

Yeah, especially the older ones. Those usually have the smell of books that are old, and I treat those like antiques, but with more care.
