Hello

Post by Pam » Fri Oct 29, 2010 1:13 pm

I can't believe we didn't have a forum for so long. We're obviously not technologically savvy.

My name is Pamela, I'm from the US. I like reading, writing, learning languages. I'm learning Spanish now.

I'm a people person but still quite shy in large groups of people. I hope more people will register so we can chit-chat.

Looking forward to reading everybody's posts.

Hey Pamela. *waves*

Did you just start to learn Spanish or have you been at it for a while?

A new member!! Now there's like, 3 of us? :D :D

I started learning it about two months ago, so still a beginner. But it's an easy language to learn. Very similar to English and uses lots of Latin words like English.

Welcome Pam!

I'm learning Spanish too, and German. I'm using Rosetta Stone software. It's quite handy, gives you pictures and you have to guess which picture goes with the sentence. You assimilate new words almost unconsciously.

Hello, Pam. My thoughts exactly. :)

It's really great you're learning Spanish. I love reading and learning languages, as well. :)

Hmmmm..... by 'ugly' do you mean old-school in appearance?

I don't mind this interface. Pretty straight-forward.
