Supplements

Post by BabyDragon » Thu Dec 23, 2010 6:48 pm

Do you use any?

I'm kind of a health freak. I have IBS so I have to use a couple of supplements but I generally like supplements.

I use:

- Psylium husk (makes my poop harder)
- Pepogest peppermint oil (slows down my fast bowel)
- Acidophilus Pearls (probiotics to help my bowel)

I couldn't live normally without those three.

Others:

- calcium
- vitamin D (it does wonders for my immunity, I haven't been sick in years)
- recently bought caffeine in capsules, cause coffee gives me diarrhea (caffeine makes me more productive and leads to better concentration)

So that's that. I used whey for bodybuilding but my IBS doesn't tolerate it. Now bought soy protein for testing (that's my last hope for a bodybuilding supplement).

I used passion flower to calm anxiety down. With IBS can you eat chocolate?

Sometimes I can but most times it just hurts my stomach. The problem is sugar. Basically 90% of the stuff that hurts my stomach is bad food anyway.

Oops its spelled carob. Carob is a natural sweetener, it's a type of legume that can be substituted for chocolate. Animals can eat it where they can't digest chocolate. My favorite chocolate is nutella.
