Bernie "Feel the Bern" Sanders is the only good candidate. Trump is a joke.

Trump is a genuine leader. This being so, almost nobody recognizes it, never having seen such a thing before.
Already he has sown the seeds of civilizational recovery, with his refusal to kneel before, and ridicule of, political correctness.
He is the only man currently significant in Western politics, that is - in fact - significant.
It is neither smart, nor perceptive, to view him as an idiot. He is something that very few Westerners are:
Real.

What about the fact that billionaires control the world and regular people can do nothing to control it? I think if a billionaire with no political experience ruled such a large country that would only further corporate dominance. Also, I'm pretty sure Obama wasn't born in Kenya. Yes, I agree, political correctness is kinda bullshit, but he's literally calling Mexicans rapists and murderers. Trump has no political experience, nor is he willing to attempt diplomacy with other countries. I think there is no genuine leader, only humans doing their own thing. I don't think it's very democratic nor helpful if someone can be President of the U.S. because he has a bunch of money and nice suits. Maybe calling him an idiot is too far a generalization, after all, he is that rich, but he's certainly no savior.

I see your left-wing indoctrination. You speak of 'regular people' and what about them? In reality, regular people don't count for much, and never have. Why should they? That's what makes them regular.
Leaders are essential, so millions of regular people don't shoot off after their own selfish ends, causing the general dysfunction and chaos we now see.
You can have a civilization or you can have millions of individuals. But not both.

Actually, the real flaw in socialism, quite apart from being a contagious mental illness, is that it herds people into seeing life only in terms of people, and all the rest of life only as a picture to look at, but never to be involved in, or part of. Everything about socialism is about people.

Poor planet. As you can see, it's starting to bite back.

I see your point, and I would like a real leader, but I'm not exactly sure Donald Trump is quite the right leader. If we vote for Trump, the country and West will go to shit even quicker than it already is, and I want to make something of my life before that happens. I'm not just talking about the rich controlling regular people but also the rich giving to aid or attention to the poor. Really, I don't care about left-wing indoctrination, you can say what you want, but Bernie Sanders plans on modeling the country's infrastructure after the Nordic countries, who are experiencing great success. I suppose I'm just sick of an aristocratic bunch of people presiding over everyone. There's a flaw in every system of government, and frankly, I'd prefer people conditioned to think about people than to think about money.

I know several Scandinavians, one very well. All of them report their socialist governments are completely wrecking their nations. I can see why. The media, being almost entirely left-wing, only reports what it wants to report: success for the ideology. The truth is very different.
Trump is ideal, really, although thoroughly bizarre. It's not necessary to 'like' a leader. All a leader needs to do is be able to effectively lead, and it would seem he can do that.
As for helping 'the poor': there are no poor people in Western countries. It's entirely subjective, this notion of poverty.
I have been as poor as any man in human history, for long periods. Actually starving to death, as well as being almost always homeless. It was great!
Now I'm rich. And nobody 'helped' me.
This journey, from there to here, it's called life. Everybody has one. And it's theirs. Only they can live it, make it, change it, lose it.
We'd all do far better minding our own business and letting each other get on with theirs.

You don't need to feel like a victim, nor does anybody else. It's a miserable outlook, and a powerless one. All anyone needs to do is live until they die.
And that's the great secret of a complete and fruitful life.

My wife watched him on TV the other day, for the first time, expecting to not like him. And came away wide-eyed and smiling, filled with enthusiasm.
Whatever it is that The Trump has got, he's got a truck-load of it.

This I have in common with him: whatever comes along, he can deal with it. He lives in the moment, and has a clear view of the road ahead.

Ha! He'd make a better looking female than most feminists, that's for sure. Speak a lot more sense, too.

Yeah, I still can't back up anything that Trump says really. But if he is a great leader and I'm just missing out, so be it.
