I go to a church service on the Eve, then meet with family on Christmas Day. We still make cookies, which is great. Last year I made a Bofur one, I neeeeed to get a picture of it. What do you do?

I spend my time trying to avoid canned Christmas music. It makes me crazy.

I think Christmas hymns and church tunes are better than the normal songs. Like Go Tell it on the Mountain is better than Jingle Bell Rock. That is my opinion, of course.

Good point. If I could bear going to church, I'd probably appreciate the hymns. There are some great hymns, for sure.

Especially gospel songs. Man, can Gospel singers jam!

i'm very impressed by your devotion to bofur lol put up a pic!
my sister always makes an assortment of chocolates and eggnog.but no cookies :(
i go to latin mass so there's definitely no "gospel music", but i much prefer gregorian chant anyway. and this year i'm singing with choir, so it's been fun.

That's great! The only Latin song I know is an unused tune from Harry Potter. I don't get Gospel music at my Methodist church, but I know it's groovy. I'll get the pic right away!

Sing better than all of them in the pews. Show them up!

they sing like, complex polyphonic stuff, and i got kicked out because i missed so many practices so it's not possible for me to sing along to most of the songs, but for the simple ones i will do my best XD
