Wow. Yerba Mate. Serious alkaloid drug :)
Works wonders, but with a few less than convenient side effects.
Best taken early in the day, and not every day.
And the taste, initially like boiled straw, grows on you.

That's amazing:)

Except I love salad:)

The old that is strong does not wither,

Eating salad is difficult if all you have is a beak.
I have a juicer, though, for those hard-to-manage leaves.

I like most salad, but I can't stand tomatoes. Ew.

You're probably a rabbit. Not a bad thing to be. Almost anything is preferable to being human.

You're so funny:) in Heaven's name I cannot figure it out. What better thing to be than human? Isnt the mind the most powerful thing we have? Our ability to rise above instinct.

Some things might be better than human. Like being a kitten, that sounds fun. And crow seems to be a decent option, or so I've been told.

The mind is at the heart of all the ills of humanity. It's a tool, to be used sparingly for certain situations.
It is absolutely not to be used for everything all the time.
Zen masters know this, of which there are about five. Zen monks do not yet know it, which is why they are monks.

You never rise above 'instinct'. Although, most likely, you will sink beneath it.
Intuition is man's greatest gift. To know without information. Godly. Worthy. Powerful.

@Crow

I agree that it is the source of pain. However, it is the source for deep pleasure and contentment.

What I mean by rising above instinct, is self control. Our ability to sacrifice is incomparably greater than the other kingdoms of existence.
