Night Owls

Post by MoneyJungle » Thu Dec 09, 2010 9:42 am

I know you're out there. Foruming while the good people of your time zone are fast asleep. I was sure I would go to sleep at a decent hour tonight. I did Tai Chi, some light reading, turned off the lights, layed awake for an hour, played some guitar, layed awake and finally started this thread. Even when I was in the military I couldn't fall asleep before one. I constantly dream of being a morning person who has accomplished stuff before the slackers get out of bed only to realize this dream has been brought to me courtesy of my snooze bar. This is just who I am.

Are you a night owl or one of those mythical creatures who is all bright eyed and bushy tailed and all that crap before the sun rises? What do you do to fall asleep or maintain a sleep schedule?

I am a vampire and I am on (summer) holiday right now, so my natural lifestyle is coming back. No more constraints.

It means that I sleep from 8am till 4pm and spend the rest of the evening/night in my bedroom reading shits and hiding from people (my housemates haven't managed to figure me out yet, I think).

Bhahahah. So true. ^
Lately I've been going to bed at 4am and getting up at 11am - 1pm.
So I guess I'm now classified as a night owl?

Sleep is such a luxury.....

And, I am poor.

But I try to catch up between semesters :D Otherwise, I'm a night owl who gets up at bright eyed, bushy tailed hours. Coffee is my anti-drug...drug! :D

Yes.
We must experience the beauty of the night and its tranquil moments.

As I type this at 4:20 AM (haha, by coincidence), I am struggling to go to bed. Help.
You all are beautiful and wonderful people. God bless you all!

I am nocturnal by nature. I simply cannot go to sleep naturally before 1 or 2 in the morning, if I do I'll wake up a few hours later unable to get back to sleep.
