i learned that pirates wore eye patches, not because they were missing an eye, but to keep one eye adapted to the dark so that when they went under deck they could switch the patch to the other eye and be able to see right away.the more you know.

I learned that people online refer to themselves as 'demisexual' to describe themselves as unable to have sexual relations with people who they haven't bonded closely with. Why? That's a personality trait, not a sexuality. The same kind of people realize that they aren't interested in romantic relationships, and if they're not happy with that, they call themselves asexual. Asexual is when you reproduce by BUDDING or MITOSIS, not someone who doesn't like romance. Please find better terms or just describe it how it is.

People are going a little crazy with those genders and sexualities. Apparently there's 6 genders now. I can't even name them all.

Six? I can understand male, female, and if you want to say hermaphrodite, that's okay, I guess. I think with being transgender, shouldn't you be classified as the gender which your body parts correspond to? Although, you can't change chromosomes.

Sexualities can be a bit more varied with homosexuality and heterosexuality, and those who say they are bisexual, but again, PEOPLE DON'T REPRODUCE BY BUDDING.

"Starting this fall, students applying to the University of California will have the option to choose among six gender identities listed on undergraduate admissions forms: male, female, trans male, trans female, gender queer/gender non-conforming and different identity."

This is what some refer to as the 'slippery slope'.
If you think you've seen it all, now, stick around and be amazed.
