infp and infj personality type

Post by mirazinax » Tue Apr 16, 2013 2:09 pm

What is the difference between infp and infj personality type? I'm so confuse. sometimes I get infp or other times I get infj. thing about it though is that I want people to know about my thoughts and I need a lot of time by myself to recover.

I think there is a spectrum of each letter, and you results may bring you in the middle of the P and J portion, or just to one side or the other. I believe I've had to take the test a few times (from a few different websites) in order to differentiate which one I truly am. Reading the descriptions, especially when you can sort of relate to some of the character types just makes it more confusing, I think.

Hello mirazinax,
i have the same problem. Sometimes the results switch between infj and infp, so i decided to take a closer look. From what i've basically found so far;
INFJ
-analytical
-aware of others emotions, feel responsible and even overwhelmed by them
-driven to seek insight
-prefer to have things planned, may not feel "together", more perceiver-like

INFP
-artistic
-aware of others emotions, imagine them easily
-exploring the human condition
-appear flexible but inwardly more structured and judger-like

That's what i got so far, but I'm still gathering info on those types, since it got me curious and i want to find out which one i sync with more.
How did you come across MBTI ?

Side not; is it just me or do the people here basically never comment a thing?
