On happiness.

I discovered happiness, twenty-something years ago, in the heat of the Sonoran Desert, in Mexico. Up to that point, all happiness was, was a word, that I sometimes applied to a state I might feel, from time to time, when things were going well. So, you see, I didn't actually know what happiness was,...

Re: Hot/cold INFP

No need to be confused. He is what he is, and does what he does. Look at it as what it is, rather than what you think it means. He probably doesn't even know what it means.

Re: I am a crow.

If you're a Brit, Canada is strange. They kind-of speak the same language, but in a way that is beyond odd. There is almost no shared cultural link. I'm not a fan of the - ah - culture. But geographically, it is quite wonderful, especially if you like trees and mountains. There is, though, this blin...

Re: why is this forum still dead?

The air feels stale around here. Am I the last person on this planet? No, you are not. Not quite. I've opened all the windows, and stuck a welcome mat outside the door. So far, mostly raccoons show up, along with Google and Yahoo bots, but it's only a matter of time. Now, if we all open our browser...

Re: FORUM IS DEAD!

I have a forum that is similarly afflicted, so I both empathize and sympathize. Not to worry: as you say, running costs are minimal, and who knows what could happen? One day we'll look back at these scarce times, and declare: "Now, those were the days!" Maybe I should see my doctor about this strang...

Re: I am a crow.

Welcome. Where are you from? Hello :) Signs of life, even. I am encouraged. It's hard to say where I am from. I've lived in Canada for a long time, but I am not a native. Celtish UK: England, Scotland, Ireland... I speak English with a Belfast accent, so you're lucky I'm writing, rather than speaki...

Re: The Search For Identity

Around age 40, I had a truly awesome experience. Ever after, I knew exactly who and what I was. I can vaguely remember not-knowing this, but only vaguely. I still develop, day by day, but I always know myself completely. I imagine it is very rare.

Re: Cognitive Processes

Ha! ISFP or possibly INFP. That's new. Never tested as that before. Maybe simply having read posts here by INFPs has influenced me.
I often get results that type me as the last person I was around. But most often, it is INFJ.

Re: What have you learned today?

I have learned that INTJs can be absolutely, utterly rotten. And that any forum can only ever be a reflection of its admins.
Good admins=good forum. Crap admins=exactly what you'd expect.
That's what I learned today.

I am a crow.

Hello there. I am a crow, and although I am not an INFP, I reckon they might make better playmates than my own type, which most often is INFJ, or the next closest type, INTJ which is often just horrible. Also: "A discussion board for INFPs and other people of good will." That included me, no matter ...
