Re: John's Personality Test

Is it really genuine if you have to choose it? ...but if I don't consciously choose then I'd have to follow every impulse, every instinct....nope. That will not end well.
Okay, by choice it is.

Re: John's Personality Test

Yes, but what if I want to be genuine? I want to distinguish "how I am" from "how I appear to be" from "how I was made to be". Not worried, just bemused.

Re: Altruism

I ventured into this topic a few months ago. Here's something I had written up on it: ~not a complete or finished product ~just pure conjecture on my part ● Altruistic behavior emerges from distress signals. ● Distress signals beget more distress. ● To return to comfort, people seek to eliminate th...

Re: A Brief Intro

Hello there.
Well I'd say my interpretations are fairly accurate. Perceiving is part of being a human. But hey, if you aren't good at it...then sure, silence would be best, right crow?

You are in denial [Period period] Crow, is it? Lacking in basic reasoning skills... don't handle criticism well...immature and rude. Birds are simple creatures after all.

Re: Tree of Life.

Hmm...okay, a dismissal of simple logic....but you can't argue this: You are a person, therefore you don't know much of anything, "hence' the nonsensical metaphor. In your words. Unless you'd care to explain it some other way? Can you even explain it yourself? If you won't bother elaborating then yo...

Re: John's Personality Test

Take one: 38% INTP 23% INFP 11% ISFP 10% ISTP Take 2: 66% INFP 9% INTP 8% ISFP 5% ENFP 5% INFJ I ran out of skip buttons on that one. Well, that wasn't very reassuring. I think somehow the more testing I do the more confused I get. Either too obvious what each question is measuring or too vague to g...

A Brief Intro

I had initially typed as INTP, but I can get all "sentimental" in my writing sometimes, so someone suggested that I might be INFP. And I've been typing INFP recently. I've registered at both forums in the meantime, 'till I settle this.

Re: Tree of Life.

But...at some point of time people no longer rely on their "roots" for nutrients. People become independent, self-sufficient. One can detach him/herself from his/her roots without committing suicide. Trees don't have the ability to pull out their own roots. Trees don't "know" like people know. Peopl...
