Irrational? Illogical? Nonsensical? You bet!
Stow the mind and start to live.
You just gave an answer.

Re: Your concepts of time and space

No. Part of those things, being immersed of them, born of them, yes. There are many angles to these ideas, space and time, and they are bigger than any one viewpoint. That's why I'm curious. I'm not looking for an answer or the answer, just different angles. The questions are more important to me th...

Re: Your concepts of time and space

You see, these are not contrived or invented images or concepts, they are just there in my mind. One day I heard someone say they saw time as little containers to be filled, and I suddenly realized that that wasn't at all how I experienced it. When I say space, I'm thinking more of concrete space ra...

Your concepts of time and space

OK, this sounds like a heavy topic, and it's something that's hard to put into words, but I am really curious how other people experience these concepts. Here's a little of my view of time: I feel like it is like moving water, washing over me, or coming towards me, like the current of a river. It is...

Re: You know you're an INFP when...

Great link potatotoro! They are too true. You notice the first one is time management...could be the reason for my always being last to be ready. God, I am sensitive to criticism. And moody. And so on with most of the list.

Re: You know you're an INFP when...

Is it just me? I'm always the last one to be ready to leave...not because I'm fussing over my appearance. I't's just, I don't know, my mom used to say I dawdled. For instance, when choir practice is over, and everyone is gathering up their stuff to leave, I'm always one of the last few to be in my c...

Re: INFP fears (phobias)

Been practicing my slow and peaceful breathing...I think I've "meditated" all my life, only it was called daydreaming, tuning out or vegetating.

Re: What book are you reading?

I downloaded the entire works of H.G. Wells on my Kindle. There are some great and unusual stories in that collection, and if I wasn't lazy, I'd go get my Kindle right now and list them. There's one called "A Bicycle Idyll," and one about an angel that fell to earth smack dab in the middle of the Vi...

Bonjour, M. Corbeau! ...

Maybe it was all those blue lights glowing in the dark...I've heard that blue-coloured light at night can really mess up your sleep.

Re: What are you listening to right now?

Mention of Edith Piaf reminded me of this song, from the somewhat weird movie Les Triplettes de Belleville . It is not Piaf, but extraordinarily Piaf-esque... Atilla Marcel - Performed by Beatrice Bonifacci: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cu1FwEXdo_E It is Piaf-esque, with the accordion in the bac...
