If I must pick, cats. They are low maintenence, but still require daily attention and I am utterly selfish and somewhat lazy. I love most animals in small doses but I don't really want to come home to any on a daily basis. I'm messy enough on my own.
I know you're out there. Foruming while the good people of your time zone are fast asleep. I was sure I would go to sleep at a decent hour tonight. I did Tai Chi, some light reading, turned off the lights, layed awake for an hour, played some guitar, layed awake and finally started this thread. Even...

You caught me on one day in roughly ten where there are no clothes on the floor and I'm a little indignant. I believe we currently have openings for den mother, drunken uncle and kid sister. Now I want brownies when I should have been sleeping hours ago. Mmmmm. Welcome!

I read an article in the paper about how Black Swan was flirting with an NC 17 rating due to girl on girl action between Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis (don't get me started on on sexuality vs violence and movie ratings. Damn buckle-hatted puritans). I just want to see it for the cinematography and ...
I can't be the only one who could blab non-stop about my family if anyone would listen. I'm the only feeler in my immediate family (by a longshot) and the only perceiver as well. I wondered for a long time if my family members had my same amorphous blob of emotion calling all the shots and bubbling ...

Now I feel like a horrible person. My only consolation is that if I had a fortune and an extra puppy, I wouldn't pay an INFP a million dollars to kill it. Not even for morbid curiosity.
I've got a little Spanish and German, which I am extremely rusty in. One language that surprised me when I heard it was Portuguese. I expected some basardized Spanish until I got to Lisbon and it doesn't sound all that Spanish at all. I find languages to be about as beautiful as the current person s...
Welcome! I'm proud to be an INFP and haven't cried in a movie in at least a few days. I only cry in movies when alone. Though once alone, all is required is a sad music and a mildly sad scene. I fall for everything, despite being aware of the obvious trap. I'm almost always alone at the movies. Waa...
Welcome! No abuse, obscenity or sexual content? Well damn. It just won't feel like the internet without those things. I'm sure we could find a way around it. Innuendo for a start ;) You know which game you can't play over and over with the same people, MoneyJungle? Risk. Play it once and you're fin...

Time generally heals these wounds for me. The longer I have been away from a person the more I can easily take an objective look at the relationship. The self-blame decreases considerably when I have taken the time to think things through. Of course it is not an even gradual slope to being "over" so...

My favorite "children's author" to reread as an adult is Roald Dahl. Although he wrote some adult (why that word is associated with porno is beyond me) fiction, his books for kids are my favorites. I haven't really challenged myself in terms of fiction in a long time. I mostly read fantasy. I though...
And MoneyJungle - isn't your icon from the get out of jail free card? If anything that could be quite liberating, right? (the fact that I remember that much about Monopoly is quite liberating for me. I still have board skillz....sorta. Monopoly's like as old school as you can get.) Yup. I forgot I ...
