Re: What are your goals in life?

Yes. That's what you get when you flip the judging functions, I suppose... Regardless of what you meant (or what pun appeared), I liked the sentence. I'll take the meaning into account as well of course. Perhaps I'll write out a full repsonse later; but thank you for this discussion (so far, anyways).

Re: I Just Found Out I'm an INFP

Welcome! it's slow, but check bi-monthly. =P
I'm glad you feel comfortable with that explanation/description... just try not to feel tied to it, haha. No good seems to come from that.

How far have you gone with MBTI? Have you gotten into functions, or are you even interested?

Re: What are your goals in life?

I'm not particularly result oriented. I have small goals that are worth pursuing; but they do not follow me. They're just plain checkpoints to work with as I work with something more colourful. Results are great, but they just seem to have another process to contend with afterwards. Somehow. "After ...

Re: What are your goals in life?

I do have some grandiose vision. It won't look grandiose to others, more, it will look a mesh of goals, probably a little far-fetched. I suppose the tinge of internal grandiosity/"fire" keeps me going... but no, realistically, every goal is not grand. Maybe not even one is grand, maybe the entire en...

Re: What are your goals in life?

Once again, I am sorry I am late.... I generally feel the need to verify most (if not all possible) data, for most theories. (I did not go into string theory very much). I can't personally verify all the mathematics, for example, but I like delving where I can. There's a reason I have some thought/p...

Re: What are your goals in life?

I believe I understand your position more. I concur; though I do not entirely ignore people, even at this point. It's later when I use people; that's part of the goal. Remove my self/the unnecessary, and be free to learn thereafter. I attempt to not miss anything, but the point is taken. What's diff...

Re: What are your goals in life?

-You don't have to be sorry. But I don't know why INFP's would then be a type to deal with. ...INFP's aren't that grown-up either. Apparently. -I'm not living vicariously through others; I may seek their experience, but then I try to experience it myself (when applicable/when resources are available...

Re: What are your goals in life?

-What matters is my own congruence with my own issues. If I can't build solidly within myself, I can't expect to build/grow with others yet. I'm not freaking out that I haven't met others yet, I'm not trying to. That is a later step. Perhaps this is a facet of introversion vs. extroversion, or somet...

Re: What are your goals in life?

I almost feel like we're not speaking the same language... so my attempt to get on the same level as you has taken a while. I hope I have been precise enough in my following reply. It's actually activit(ies), not activit(y) that has taken so long too. While being courteous on the internet is nice, I...

Re: What are your goals in life?

OR I have other things in life to do, things other than replying on a forum. ...??? People are necessary for understanding/learning and bringing outside perspective [stating the obvious]. But at this moment of planning I don't feel the idea is ready yet for widespread negotiation. No, it's not yet p...

Re: What are your goals in life?

1. And yet, you find no people who have similar goals. Have you ever thought how much realistic is that? Does it matter to you to think this way? 2. And that's the end of it? 3. Then you are all alone in this. After all, if someone decided not to join, then you would still have others around you. I...

Re: What are your goals in life?

I feel strongly when I feel they are impinging on my world... I opened up, and then they rejected. But I am not upset when others don't follow exactly in my footsteps; that is not realistic. I'd like people to at least be understanding of other viewpoints, and not smash them down just so they can se...

Re: What are your goals in life?

That means the answer is no. How do you feel towards such people? Hey, I don't know how much information would be relevant to your aims. I felt a bit resentful at the ESFP, who thought that this version of freedom was delusion/bullshit (as it's a hidden part of me, but something that seems as a bea...

Re: What are your goals in life?

Sidetracks are usually good; especially when they're spontaneous and I can let go for a while. Then coming back I have another perspective, and I can process that... Most of my straight lines end up jagged anyways, unless I have a ruler. Rulers can hurt if you're not careful... haha. I've only talke...
