Re: What have you learned today?

two things 1) infps and infj supposedly make the world worst match. I have no idea why. 2) I find reasons why a relationship cannot work. I will come to a point and while my partner is at a high for having had a wonderful time I will say, see here, this is why we have no future. And any counterargum...

defining art, the role of art

How would you define art? Do you think that art is important in this world? Do you think that artists have a responsiblity? My answer to all three of those questions would be yes. I was talking the other day to someone who said that we're all doomed IN THIRTY YEAR!!! unless technology can safe us. I...

Sugar: The Bitter Truth

I stumbled across this video one day and it seriously changed my life. I had watched other food documentaries before, Food Inc, Supersize Me, but... there is something about hard facts and numbers laid out in a clear, organized and concise manner that got to me in ways nothing else ever had. I watch...

Re: The Line Between Friend and Potential Date

Well, I'm very introverted, but that extroverted feeling function has always saved my ass in that respect.

"yeah, I think that book is really good, too..." *attack of the passionate kiss out of nowhere*

Re: Have you even shut someone out of your life for good?

friend of 8 years. he was sliding down into a drug addiction and tried to take me with him. ex girlfriend of nearly 10 years. She was on a path of self destruction, would not listen to me, and at some point you just can't take looking at that anymore. I heard that she ended up in the hospital not to...

Re: how do you make the world a better place?

I help people overcome their fears. I help them to become more accepting of themselves. I help them cry, or laugh, if they need that. I like to think that I can help people believe in themselves. I help people deal with wounds. I don't do this professionally, but... I would very much like to. It's v...

Dangerous Philosophy

Alright. This is for all you people here who value growth, and who are able to change. Beware. There are one way streets with dead ends on the road of change. I've encountered one of them, dealing with my ISFJ girlfriend over the last two years. She seeks stasis. That would be cool, she's awesome in...

Re: Introvert - extrovert

It's much more than that. It's an entire shift in perspective. It took me constant, unrelenting hard work to put myself into the shoes of my extrovert boyfriend to crack his code. He is an ESTJ. I finally manged to do it, to put myself into his shoes, and see the world through his eyes, but it's sti...
