Re: Instantiated mind

That last part was beautifully expressed- "society does not allow us to think in ways inconsistent with the linear experience fundamental to our biology"... Words loving eachother (me getting a rush of ...dopamin?) I might be to "stupid" for this conversation and the language a bit foreign but...; C...

Re: how does the realization of the infp identity changed your life?

The realisation that i had a type and not just being weird, of not being alone... Like finding a purpose (even though i haven't). Instead of wondering how the hell my mind was wired (but still do) i begun to feel strong and able to use my "superpowers" instead of hiding them. I respect my own need o...

Re: Family influence

It does not sound easy, not at all. Not going to ask you what happened but to go from that... Do you believe it was your true functions that made the biggest pull? Like a necessity? But with help?

Re: Family influence

Cold hearted thinkers? I think "they" reply to people who don't care enough to listen and engage from another perspective :-). No but really, that would provide a reason why i don't sometimes feel like an infp when i obviously still behave like one. I love and can not help to put my self in orbit ar...

Family influence

I grew up with three sisters. Later i've learned that the oldest one is INTJ, the second youngest INTP and the youngest ENTP. LOVELY mix. I was thinking about how I sometimes don't behave like INFP even though it's where i feel at home and wondered if it might be like that for other personality-type...

Re: Favorite books, reviews, recommend a book

And for that i feel i have to honor him and give the book another chance :-). To be fair it's a sound-book i've tried. Not really my cup of tea. It feels as if someone is trying to persuade me into doing something I'm not sure what it is and therefore i will not accept and above that i don't even kn...

Re: Favorite books, reviews, recommend a book

Yes i believe it's true (if it can be), suffering either breaks you or it brings out brilliant things and the writers in russia made agony into art. Is Hemingway another favourite writer of yours? I haven't managed to embrace "the old man and the sea" :(

Re: Favorite books, reviews, recommend a book

Yes it's lovely! The way raskolnikov changes, how the guilt makes him behave and how we follow this "anti-hero" around (sorry for lack of proper words) and the question he raises in the reader about dubious things. I can't read as fast as i would like cause I'm afraid of missing out. I think he mana...

Re: Favorite books, reviews, recommend a book

At the moment I'm really interested in russia and russian culture and in this rush i finally started reading Dostoyevsky. I don't get the "it's a brick"-part. It's beautiful! It's psychological portrait of both man and his environment, he spills it all but manage to weave it into a story with a "fev...

Re: I am a crow.

5-27! I'm truly jealous (it doesn't happen a lot). Sorry to hear about Pink Paw :(. Raccoons are such beautiful creatures, even the psycho πŸ˜„. I can see people complain about them because they mess things up, do they? It sounds like they bring piece

Re: Presentation of oneself

So it's an utopia, "impossible" to reach but the only way? You can't make them but you can strive to be it yourself and let go? It is beautiful but the let go-part seem to require love and trust? And a lot of people who try to meditate themself into the light get the words growth and escape mixed up...

Re: Presentation of oneself

πŸ˜„ it's horrible so i need to laugh at it but i do believe you about the 99%.

And the part where you merge - wouldn't it require somekind of ego-death? How did the crow teach you, or how did you learn? What is the world and reality?

I do put people to sleep yes, but I'm swedish

Re: Presentation of oneself

I've certainly tried not being human (amongst other things a faerie, a horse, an alien) πŸ˜„ safe to say there where problems in the contact with other human beings. I actually do like crows, they're smartashellbirds
