Re: ENTJ + INFP

That is a good suggestion though he is an extremely private person & there really are no extra funds. We just lost almost everything this month in a fire & I'm having difficulty paying all the bills myself. :( I've suggested working out (for stress reduction)...maybe kickboxing...or doing yoga with ...

Re: INFPs!!! What is your idea of a party? ^^

I prefer small gatherings of close friends vs. large loud parties. I would think most introverts would agree with me about that. Alcohol is never a requirement in good company...but it never hurts! An idea of a party to me this winter is to have a few close friends over to play apples to apples, hav...

Re: Telepathy , telepathy is possible???

I'm not sure what this is called but I am an empath. I feel others emotions projected as words in my mind. I can also frequently see people from far away. I have a job on the phones. I get their age, height, and weight at the end of the poll I do. I can always see them clearly immediately upon speak...

Re: ENTJ + INFP

I am back after many months away. I am still seeing an ENTJ. I love him dearly but some issues have arose. He has a bit of a temper and frequently says things he doesn't mean when upset. He used to be the calm adventurous one but lately he has been very meek and overly apologetic and full of worry. ...

Re: Who do You fall in love with?

I have loved an ENFJ and an ENTJ. I think the differences in type can cause a lot of sexual tension but keeping S or N the same helps with the love vs. lust factor.

Re: What have you learned today?

I hope you are right but I think our brains have a difficult time processing the idea that is exponential growth and that's why the projections don't seem conservative enough. We tend to think linearly. I'm worried we are losing our humanity in exchange for convenience. What it means to be human may...

Re: What have you learned today?

I learned about the Singularity movement. I'm equal parts fascinated and horrified. http://www.time.com/time/health/article ... 38,00.html I posted this online and realized once again that very few of the people I interact with enjoy reading and/or philosophical discussion. :(

Re: Favorite books, reviews, recommend a book

My favorite book is The Art of Loving by Erich Fromm. It was assigned in my senior sem. existential psych. course in college and is still my essential guide for having genuine loving relationships. It is a book that always strikes good conversation as well. :)

Re: What is your Enneagram type?

I think I'm a 4 though I could relate to 1 and 6 as well. I felt the website posted was very helpful. It was cool to see that my favorite author Kierkegaard has the same personality type as myself! :)

Re: You know you're an INFP when...

-words you most often utter are ones of understanding/empathy -you spend excessive amounts of time as a child with a specific hobby because fantasy/imagination/creativity/learning was so much more interesting than your peers -your parents unscrewed the lightbulb in your room to get you to sleep? you...

Re: Types in your family

Mother: ESFJ
Stepfather: ISTJ
Father: ISTP
Stepmother: ESTP
Twin Brother: ISTP

I don't play well with S. My family has acted as though there is something wrong with me my whole life for being an N. My mother is a micromanager. Anyone else have difficulty with S types or have an ESFJ parent?

Re: Any vegetarians?

Hi BabyDragon! It's good to be here! In response to your q...I ate a lot of soy when I became vegetarian and within a couple months was diagnosed with hypothyroidism. I won't get started on the soy controversy as there is plenty of info online if anyone is curious as to why it may be harmful. I also...

Re: Any vegetarians?

I was a vegetarian for 5 years but have had health problems due to this diet. The past two years I have been eating fish which would make me a pescetarian. I still don't like the idea of contributing to the suffering of any creature but make less of a connection between non-mammals.
